What are transferable skills?
Simply put, they are skills acquired through any activity - not just your research - that can be applied in other situations. They can be acquired through employment, voluntary work, hobbies, sports – virtually anything. You probably already have valuable transferable skills that could make you a more effective learner now, and more attractive to employers in the future, and you will have many opportunities to develop your skills further during your time at Cambridge.
