    Open society organised by the Engineering Department to enable students of any discipline to take part in practical engineering projects.

    Student-run volunteer listening support and information service.
  • ChaOS (Cambridge hands-on science)
    Student society dedicated to transferring enthusiasm about science to the public.
  • CU first aid society
    A division of St John Ambulance.
  • Millennium maths project
    Maths education initiative for ages 5-19 and the general public, based at the University of Cambridge but active nationally and internationally.
  • Student-run computing facility
    Service maintained by a group of volunteers, providing web hosting, shell accounts and various other computing services to members of the University and groups such as University societies.
