Cambridge University Skills Portal
What skills do I have?

The ability to reflect, honestly and accurately, on your life and work - and especially on any challenges that you may experience - will enhance your transferable skills greatly. Reflection and self-awareness will also help you to identify skills you didn't even know you possessed. This process of reflecting on and recording your experiences is sometimes known as Personal Development Planning (PDP).
Your faculty or department's transferable skills statement is a good starting point for identifying your skills as it will set out which skills studying your subject should develop. Also see:
- skills practised by studying at Cambridge;
- compiling the CV (section in the Careers Service's CV and Cover Letters guide);
- assess your skills (tool intended to help postgraduate students assess their skills which may also be useful for undergraduates);
- skills audit form (form which can be used to record your skills).
